Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Overview

PolyConsensus ("the Service") is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

In short: PolyConsensus does not require user accounts, does not collect personal information, and does not sell any data.

2. Information We Collect

PolyConsensus collects minimal data. We do not require registration, login, or any personal information to use the Service.

Standard Web Server Logs

Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic access logs that may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version (User-Agent string)
  • Pages visited and timestamps
  • Referring URL

These logs are used solely for server maintenance, security monitoring, and abuse prevention (e.g., rate limiting). They are not used for tracking, profiling, or marketing purposes.

3. Cookies

PolyConsensus uses minimal or no cookies. The Service does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies.

If analytics cookies are used in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and they will be limited to anonymous, aggregated usage statistics.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be explicit, PolyConsensus does NOT:

  • Require or store user accounts, emails, or passwords
  • Collect personal identification information
  • Track individual users across sessions for profiling
  • Sell, rent, or share any data with third parties
  • Use advertising networks or retargeting services
  • Store wallet addresses or financial information of visitors

5. Third-Party Data Sources

PolyConsensus displays data sourced from publicly available third-party services, including:

  • Polymarket APIs — Market data, position data, and leaderboard statistics
  • Public blockchain data — On-chain transaction records via subgraph indexers

The wallet addresses and trading activity displayed on PolyConsensus are derived from public blockchain records. This data is publicly accessible to anyone and is not considered private information.

6. Data Retention

Standard web server logs are retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) for security and operational purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.

Cached market and trading data from public APIs is stored locally for performance purposes and is regularly refreshed. This data is publicly available and does not contain personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

PolyConsensus is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service and its infrastructure. However, as we do not collect personal data, the risk to individual users is minimal. Rate limiting and access controls are in place to prevent abuse.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact
